Two Factor Setup on hoki100

Activating two factor authentication on your hoki100 account means every login requires both your password and a one-time code — so your wallet connections to DANA, OVO, and GoPay stay under your control.

Why Two Factor Setup Matters on hoki100

We built two factor authentication into hoki100 accounts because wallet-linked accounts need more than a password. These are the security practices we keep consistent across every account.

Wallet Access Protection

Your DANA, OVO, and GoPay connections are only accessible after both authentication steps pass. No second factor means no wallet access, even with the correct password.

Device Session Control

Each new device that logs into your account triggers a fresh verification request. Recognised devices can be managed and removed from your security settings at any time.

Recovery Code Backup

When you activate two factor setup, we generate a set of one-time recovery codes. Store these offline — they are your fallback if you lose access to your authenticator app or phone number.

No Third-Party Data Sharing

Verification codes are generated on your device or sent directly to your registered number.

How Two Factor Authentication Works Here

Two factor setup on hoki100 adds a second checkpoint between your credentials and your account. After entering your password, you confirm your identity with a time-sensitive code — either from an authenticator app like Google Authenticator, or via SMS to your registered number. Players in Jakarta and Surabaya use this to lock down accounts that have DANA or OVO wallets attached. Head

to Account Settings, open the Security tab, and choose your preferred method. The code refreshes every 30 seconds for app-based setups, and SMS codes expire after five minutes. Once enabled, any new device login triggers the verification step automatically.

Two Factor Authentication Terms Explained

Quick definitions for the terms you will see when setting up or managing two factor authentication on your account.

What is TOTP?

Time-based One-Time Password. A six-digit code generated by an authenticator app that refreshes every 30 seconds and is valid only for that window.

What is a recovery code?

A single-use backup code issued when you activate two factor setup. Use it to access your account if you lose your phone or authenticator app.

What does 'trusted device' mean?

A device you have previously verified and chosen to remember. Future logins from that device may skip the second factor step, depending on your security settings.

What is an authenticator app?

A mobile application such as Google Authenticator or Authy that generates TOTP codes locally on your device without needing an internet or SMS connection.

What is SMS verification?

A one-time code sent to your registered mobile number as a text message. Used as the second factor when you do not have an authenticator app configured.

What is a session token?

A temporary credential issued after successful two factor login. It authorises your current session and expires when you log out or after a set period of inactivity.

Common Two Factor Setup Questions

Answers to what our account holders ask most when activating or managing two factor authentication.

Go to Account Settings, select the Security tab, then choose Two Factor Authentication. Pick either authenticator app or SMS, follow the on-screen steps, and save your recovery codes before finishing.

Yes. During setup, choose the authenticator app option and scan the QR code shown on screen with Google Authenticator or Authy. App-based codes work without mobile signal.

Use one of the recovery codes you saved during setup to log in. From there, go to Security Settings to disable the old two factor method and set up a new one on your replacement device.

Your wallet connections remain active after two factor is enabled. The extra verification step applies at login, so once you are inside your account your DANA, OVO, and GoPay options work as normal.

Yes, from the Security tab in Account Settings. You will need to complete one successful verification before the option to disable becomes available, to confirm it is you making the change.

An unrequested code usually means someone attempted to log into your account. Do not share the code with anyone. Change your password immediately and check your active sessions in Security Settings.
